In 2024, Helana decided to start a business to empower other women to push to achieve their goals. What started as a project run by Helana alone has now turned into an operation employing friends and family. With an online presence and shop Formosity Jewellery is proud to be helping women all around the UK shine.
I was currently on maternity leave from work and whilst I was 12 weeks pregnant and I contracted covid. It was a scary time and this led me to think what I wanted to do with my life. Once I was better I started learning graphic design but I did not enjoy this. The design process is what I enjoyed. The enjoyment of learning was cut short due to my daughter being born early, all my time was dedicated to her. This led onto the next year.
Fresh new year for our little family, my daughter is healthy and well. I am back at work in a new job and fitting in time to studying around my job. However I took a break from designing and finished off my degree in English literature with creative writing.
I finished off my degree in the summer of 2024 and received a 2.1 in English literature with creative writing. I am amazed I have been able to accomplish this as I have always felt that I was never good enough.
This feeling of not good enough has stopped me from achieving things in life. This has led me to want to build my own business and create Formosity. A unique jewellery brand that can help women shine.
That is where you come in, as a customer to help me grow Formosity into then brand it supposed to be. Hopefully together we can do it.
This business means a great deal to me and at the heart of what I do, I care about each and every product I send out whether I have designed it or bought it from wholesalers.
